It's a proud day for the Washington's oldest son Brennan, as he graduates from high school with honors! He's always beared the burden of paving the way and being an example for his many younger siblings, and he's proud that he's done a good job and that he can now start a life of his own.
His parents have always put a lot of pressure on him to do well, and while he has, he's drifted away from them a little bit due to resentment. He's dated his girlfriend Charlotte Robinson since the 10th grade, is completely head over heels, and they've been talking about marriage recently. It all seems so impossible though, he knows his parents will try to control everything and won't let them do things their way, and they have no idea how they'll provide for themselves. Brennan has decided to take a job at his alma mater, as theirs an opening for a Playground Monitor that the principal says could turn into more if need be. He's always loved kids, and kids have always loved him due to his sense of humor and friendliness, and he thinks that this is what's right for him. He figures he'll live at home for a year or so, save up some money to buy a ring, and then him and Charlotte can start their lives together. He knows his dad would have wanted him to go into politics, like his father before him, but Brennan is not cut out for that.
It's hard finding a place in this world after your little high school bubble has been bursted. It's overwhelming and scary. But Brennan has plans and dreams, and intends to follow them his way.
wow this is good!
