The Robinsons- A Prom To Remember

Saturday finds Amelia at Rosedale Department Store finally buying the expensive camera that she has saved up to buy.  She has always found beauty in everyday life, and has dreamed of being a profesional photographer.  After watching her sister graduate and start her career, she's reminded that that will be her next year, and decides to jump into this craft with both feet.

Sophia and Emma keep busy over at the neighborhood pool, although it's always super crowded on the weekend.

Amelia heads to Central Park to test out her new camera. While there she can't resist using some of her change to buy a caramel brownie from Arlo Bunch's treat stand! Yum!

Later that evening, a reluctant Teddy indulges his daughter Amelia who has been begging for her license, insisting that all her friends have it but her, and takes her out for a test drive around town.

Meanwhile, Charlotte's whirlwind weekend continues with a date with her hunk of a boyfriend Brennan Washington, who takes her to Cabella's Italiana Bistro, the fanciest restaurant around.

They then head to the park to stargaze together.  These two lovebirds have come a long way and have stood the test of time; now young adults, they've only grown closer at a time in life when many couples change and drift apart.

One long last kiss goodnight, and they both muse that they long for the day when they not longer have to say goodbye when the sun goes down.

The next day, the Robinsons sleep in and then decide to spend their Sunday as a family at Central Park.

This guy keeps popping up! Emma spots Davy, and goes over to talk to him. She can't help but wonder if he came to the park hoping to see her. 

After laughing and talking for awhile, Emma musters up the courage to ask him the question she's been meaning to. Will he go to prom with her?  As friends of course.  Davy smiles brightly and says he'd love to. As friends. But she's sure he winked a little when he said that.  Emma flushes, and tells him to pick her up tomorrow at 6. The sparks fly.

The Robinson ladies sit down for a picnic lunch, and Emma tells her mom and sisters about Davy! Good thing her Dad went home early, he'd start some nonsense about how she's too young for boys...

Charlotte head over to the Washington Estate to surprise Brennan, but finds that he's out with his dad.  Instead she decides to get in a little bonding time with his younger siblings and his mom. Always a good idea to get in good with the family, right?

Amelia come home from the DMV with good news- she's passed her license tests-she's officially on the road!



Monday morning rolls around, and Charlotte prepares for her first day on the job as a Paper Girl! She can't believe they're actually forcing her to wear this garb.  She secretley swears to herself that she'll get promoted just to get out of these threads.

After school that day, Emma rushes home while Amelia is still at art club, determined to look her very best tonight.

She can't decide how to wear her hair, our which of 2 dresses look the best. She tries on this one first...

....but eventually decides that the other one is nicer and changes. Then she rolls her hair into big dramatic curls with a curling iron.  She primps in the mirror and blasts some music, and practices her dancing. She's so excited to be one of the only sophomores going to prom!

Well, Char's first day is over, and it couldn't have gone better! Her boss decided that her writing skills were too advanced to be wasted as a mere paper girl, and promoted her to Automated Spell Checker! Just like that! She's so thrilled; she sees this promotion as just one step closer to her future together with Brennan.



The girls dates have arrived to take them to prom! Amelia arrives home from art club with less time to get ready than Emma, but already has everything laid out.

...which brings them to Rosedale Academy. Time to start the party!

As soon as Char gets home, she can't wait to call Brennan and tell him the good news!

Sophia's been feeling a little left out lately, what with all the graduation and prom talk, so Charlotte spends some extra time with her and helps her out with her homework.

Charlotte tells her parents that she'll wait up for her sisters tonight- she wants to work on her writing skills anyways.

All the prom talk has Teddy and Paulette reminiscing about their own prom, and they both get a bit hot under the collar!

Yup, it was the magical night that Emma had dreamed of!  Davy asked her to be his GIRLFRIEND and then gave her her first KISS! She doesn't want the night to end...

Amelia, the little overacheiver that she is, was the bell of the ball with Payton at her side, and was named prom queen! 

When the girls get home, they keep Charlotte up an extra 30 minutes gushing about their night before they all finally head to bed.
