The Jacobs- Growing Up

It's a peaceful Saturday morning, and Sydney Jacobs is once again up before her motley crew, and talking to her best friend and fellow early riser, Rishelle Glenister.  She tells her that it's Phoenix's birthday today, and he'll be starting school on Monday.  Sydney has bought a cake, and hopes the crankiness is at a minimum and it can be a nice day.

She heads to the nursery and helps Ryan, who is already getting the kids dressed. He's gotten more and more accustomed to being a father and Sydney sometimes find herself watching him with the kids with a giant grin on her face- although her attempted conversations about having another baby have been greeted with a chuckle and a look from Ryan. She guesses he's just not ready.  Sigh.  They waste no time in breaking out the cake, hoping to have the little party while the kids are rested and fresh.  They gather around the cake and Ryan blows his kazu obnoxiously loud.

Cassidy sucking on her bottle, looking as cute as ever.

Sydney and Ryan decide to redecorate the nursery into a bedroom suited for a little boy, and not two toddlers.  They break out the bed that they've bought for Phoenix, and reorganize.

Then, to Sydney's delight, Ryan enthusiastically suggests that he also give the backyard a makeover, now that Phoenix is old enough to really get more use out of it! He busies himself landscaping and setting up the backyard all afternoon.

So cute! Ryan takes Phoenix outside to play. No, you're not seeing double, that little guy on the swings is Phoenix, growing up and looking more and more like his father everyday.
