Few people can look this good when they first wake up- but Eden Mason is exceptional.
She's always the first to leave the house in the morning before her roomies to head over to Warner Brothers studios, but she can never quite get there for the 7:00 calltime. She chows down on her cereal.
She checks the clock, and sure enough! She's late, and she's sure her carpool is probably waiting outside for her. She bolts out the door.
Judy Cole wakes up to her alarm a little while later to a pounding headache and an upset stomach. Maybe she should chill with the partying on weeknights. This is one hell of a hangover. She hopes the salon won't miss her, and calls up her boss to call out.
Her co-workers aren't thrilled with her, but Judy takes the opportunity to go back to bed and sleep it off. She hopes her boss isn't mad at her...
Asiana Morrow primps in the mirror and picks out her outfit for the office that day. She decides to leave her hair down- her boyfriend Jacen always tells her he likes it down, and she's seeing him later.
Mandy Fulcher doesn't go into her job as a Pastry Chef til later, so she usually wakes up last. She's a bit disgusted by her messy roomates and sighs. She's always cleaning up after them.
Judy rolls out of bed once her migraine has dulled, and decides to pamper herself with a hot bath.
Mandy hears the tub draining and is surprised to see Judy still here. "You're not going in today, Judes?" Mandy asks over her shoulder as she carries her laundry into her room. "Nope, feel like crap after last night. I know you want to make me some of your apple pancakes to make me feel better?" She flashes a smile.
"What do I look like, your personal chef?" Mandy jokes, and then changes into her work uniform. Judy giggles.
Eden gets home from the studio a little while later, and Judy tells her she's itching to go to the beach. It's beautiful outside today. Eden is more than happy to tag along, and they head off to Rosedale Pavilion Beach.
Meanwhile, Asiana is just getting off her shift as a Report Processor at Smithfield Corporate, and heads to her boyfriend Jacen's townhouse. She always thinks he looks so sexy in his military uniform...
Eden and Judy spend some time laying out and jumping on the trampoline. That's some serious air!
As the sun starts to go down, they decide to have a fire on the beach and toast marshmellows.
Asiana loves to make her man and his roomies dinner. They all jokingly call her mom.
Ashley Whittaker, Jacen's roommate joins them. Ashley is probably the roomate that Jacen is the least close to, so Asiana doesn't know him very well. Asiana can't help but notice that she keeps catching him staring at her all dinner long.
After washing the dinner dishes, Jacen has to take a phone call outside, and Ashley has the nerve to make a move on her! He asks her how serious her and Jacen are, and tells her that if she ever wants to have some real fun, to give him a call, with a wink. Some friend. She tells him they're very serious, and he's a creep for even asking! He shrugs and walks off.
Back at the beach, the girls are busy gosipping about their own love lives. "So whats up with you and Alex? You guys have been an item for awhile...you were never the kind of girl to keep a boyfriend in college! Am I losing my fellow party girl?" Judy asks. Eden sighs. "I know. Alex is.....different. I'm just never bored with him. He just gets me." "Dum dum dum dum, dum dum dum dum...." Judy jokingly humms the wedding march. Eden laughs. "Oh stop. How about you and Adrian? You were out with him last night weren't you? Hows that going?" Judy's smile falters a little. "Oh well ya know....he's fun. Fun to party with. We're super attracted to each other. I don't see wedding bells in out future though." She tries to smile, but Eden wonders whats behind that. Maybe she was falling harder than she let on.
They end their night with some burritos from the Beach Food Truck.
When Mandy gets home from her shift, she checks her phone and sees she had a missed call from Bryan Reed. She grins and calls him back.
Over at Jacen's townhouse, things are getting pretty hot and heavy. Asiana decided not to tell Jacen about his roommate Ashley's unwelcome advances, it would just cause drama, and she resolved it fine anyway. Her and Jacen have moved upstairs to the guest room, and tonight he's coming on really strong. Maybe he felt the competition more than she realized. He's all over her, and she responds passionately, feeling a little out of control.
Jacen moves his hand down to the button of Asiana's blouse, and suddenly she snaps to her senses. She pulls away, and Jacen asks her whats wrong. "Nothing...I'm sorry. I just, I haven't done this before." "Yea, I know baby, we won't do anything you don't want to, its fine." says Jacen. "The truth is....." she feels the heat rising in her cheeks. "....I don't think I'm ready Jace. And I don't think I really want to until....until I'm married." She gulps. "I know thats old-fashioned and everything, but it's just the way I always saw it. I hope you....understand." She looks down at the bed and suddenly becomes very interested in the nail of her pinkie. Jacen stares hard at her. Then he smiles. "I'm glad you told me. Like I said, we won't do anything you're not ready for. I just hope....I just hope I get to be that guy." He looks deep into her eyes and kisses her sweetly on the lips. Asiana's pulse races- was he saying he wanted to marry her?
