The Washingtons

Charles and Lorraine Washington have a dream. That all Sims may live in harmony with one another and not be judged by the color of their skin but the content of their character. At least that's what they'll tell your before boring you to death with their conservative ideology.  Charles, an honest, hard-working and proud man,  was born into a political family; his father Art Washington, was the governor of all of Simsville! (a state wedged somewhere between Iowa and Indiana which Rosedale is a part of *wink*) Charles has a dream to be President of the whole USA, and surpass even his father's success.  He met Lorraine in college and they built their relationship around the statutes of family, conservatism, and the Republican party.  They've since gotten married and had 6 kids, and moved into Charles's father's estate.  Charles is currently another suit at Rosedale City Hall, hoping to get the votes in the upcoming election to become a local representative.  Lorraine, a snobbish but nurturing woman, writes political books that sell reasonably well due to her last name, her most recent including,  "Libertarianism and its Danger To Society", and "What Can You Do For Your Country."  Their oldest child, Brennan is about to graduate from Rosedale Academy. Payton and Olive come next, and are in 11th and 10th grade.  Audrey and Shawn are in the elementary section of Rosedale Academy, in 4th and 2nd grade. The baby of the family is Rhett, still a toddler. The Washingtons are a staple family in Rosedale.  Here's a partial view of the inside of the Washington estate....

We catch up with the Washingtons on a weekday, and here's Lorraine at home with Rhett, teaching him some new words.

After some serious exercise in the morning, Lorraine calls her best friend Paulette Robinson, who has 4 kids of her own.

Soon school is out for the older kids, and Payton and Olive decide to break out the slip n slide for some after school fun...

Olive is growing up to be a really beautiful girl....

Oh that gunfire you hear? No biggie, its just Shawn play-fighting pirates in the treehouse!
Once Charles is home from work, him and his son Brennan break out the videogames for a fight to the death...

One of Audrey's best friends, Max Macintyre, gets off the bus at her house and the two work on their homework together....

Olive loving up her little brother Rhett....she's always been the nurturing type.

Lorraine decides to cook dinner out on the patio tonight.  Payton and Shawn do their homework together, and Payton jokes that they should switch...
Here's Olive being.....flexible? ;) Before taking brother Rhett for a walk to Central Park.

Another shot once the sun goes down...

Payton calls his girlfriend, Amelia Robinson.  His older brother Brennan dates Amelia's older sister Charlotte, isn't that cute? Payton's determined to win the "No, You Hang Up First" game...
Charles taking Brennan out for a spin after dark so he can learn how to night-drive...it's Payton he's worried about on the road, not Brennan, Brennan will definitely be a responsible driver.

Once Rhett and Olive come back from the park, Payton sits down with his baby brother to teach him some new words, then snuggles him and puts him to bed.

Audrey dancing in her room to a pop song....c'mon, you KNOW you did that when you were 10....

The girls have a pillow fight before hitting the hay, what are sisters for?

The quiet stillness of the Washington home is soon disturbed though, when Lorraine can't sleep due to her husband's incessant snoring!
