The Jacobs

Sydney and Ryan Jacobs were high school sweethearts- they had their son Phoenix only 3 months after they graduated high school.  Despite becoming parents so young, they haven't let that stop them from pursuing their dreams.  Just before Phoenix's first birthday, they got married. Sydney teaches 7th grade over at Rosedale Academy, and Ryan is a Safety Instructor at the Firehouse, training to be an official Fireman.  When Phoenix was 2 years old, Sydney convinced Ryan to have another child- they had a beautiful little girl that they named Cassidy.  Sydney wants a large family- Ryan, while he's adjusted to fatherhood wonderfully, is a little hesistant at the thought of spending all his time changing diapers and filling bottles. 

This Sunday, Sydney wakes early and makes pancakes for her brood. She's excited to get out of the house for a day and hit the beach with a girlfriend.  Hopefully Ryan doesn't pout too much about being left at home with the kids.

She heads out after waking up Ryan, and meets up with her friend and co-worker, Rishelle Glenister.  These two young moms have decided to spend the day at Rosedale Pavilion Beach, soaking up some rays!

Rishelle squeals that she has exciting news! She's pregnant again, with her third child!  Sydney is so happy for her, and tries to ignore the twinge of jealousy that Rishelle's husband has always supported and shared her dream of a large family.





 Knowing that Rishelle likes to cook just like her, she gives her her copy of the recipe for Ratoutille!

Back at the house, the day is off to a rough start. Ryan goes into the nursery to find some extremely grumpy kids...

Sydney, however, is having a terrific time at the beach!

The girls get redressed and head over to the Grab n Go Food Truck directly on the beach for some clam chowder...

Then it's back in the suits for some dancing over at the Beach Pavilion!

 And then they get some refreshment and rejuvenation from the oxygen bar, and look out over the beautiful ocean!

Sydney says goodbye to Rishelle and thanks her for a fun day. When she arrives home she find an exhausted Ryan, but her two kiddos playing nicely. 

She gets the kids ready for bed, and reads them a story as they fall gently asleep....
